This journey of discovery and hope started in 2009 when Bruce led a fundraising group to Nepal from Cults Church in Aberdeen, Scotland,UK. One early morning in the bazaar in Bandipur he met Louise Boddington having her breakfast in the Old Inn Cafe. At the time Louise and her 3 friends were supporting 2 remote schools. Following a visit to Arthunka the next year, Bruce asked Joli ,one of the 4, naively whether the group had given any thought to the question of sustainability. From there the idea of a social enterprise was born!
